A competition/event planner can be viewed on the Forthcoming Events page. This includes the galas that the club will be entering during the 2017/18 season but please note this is subject to change.  A "swimmer selection" row has been included and this highlights the squads that may meet the entry requirements of the gala.  However it does not mean that all swimmers from those squads will automatically qualify.
An eligibility report is produced for each gala and the swimmers name and the events that they have qualified will be listed. If the swimmers name is not on the eligibility report, it means that they have not met the entry standard or that they are too fast for this particular gala. If you feel that the swimmer should have been included please check with our competition secretary.
This link  Guide to the four levels of licensed meets gives a brief outline of the differences in the gala levels. Throughout the competitive season we enter galas across all levels and this enables all of our swimmers to compete at an appropriate level.

The meet packs and eligibility reports for the North Cornwall Dragons Open Meet (Sat 4th & Sun 5th November) and the CCASA Development Gala (Sun 19th November) are available on the forthcoming events page. Can parents/swimmers please check and if you wish to enter print off an entry form and post in the club mailbox or hand in at the club desk. Payment must accompany entry. Closing date  for the North Cornwall Dragons Open Meet is Monday 2nd October. Closing date for the CCASA Development Gala is Thursday 12th October.

Cornwall county senior men's water polo side and the Penzance junior team recently hosted a very experienced side from Newport in Wales  at the Jubilee pool. Both games were very tough with a lot of goals being scored on each side. The local sides demonstrated a lot of talent and worked well as a team and eventually  the Penzance juniors lost 16 goals to 10 and the Cornwall side won their match by 17 goals to 11. It was great to have the games played at such a lovely venue as the Jubilee pool in the sunshine.
The Penzance water polo section has been showing a lot of promise over the last couple of seasons with several members being selected for the County and the South West teams, and Fletcher  Stevenson and Tyler Kearey have recently been invited to play for the Exeter water polo side in all of their league games.
PZ JUNIORS.   Toby Pearce, Murray Stevenson, Tyler Kearey Levi Barker, Jowan Bobbin, Amber Sanders, Milly Roach, Melody Roberts and Fletcher Stevenson.
CORNWALL SENIORS.   George Hollis, Steve Hollis, Anthony Stevenson, Ori Matus, Tom Foreman, Toby Hogg and Paul Hogg.

Polite Notice
Could parents please ensure that their child/children leave the changing rooms promptly after their swimming session. It has come to our notice that some children have been messing about in the changing rooms following their session, potentially putting themselves and others at risk. Thank you for your cooperation.

Pictured are some of the swimmers who competed in the Club's Annual Gala recently held at the Jubilee Pool. Well done everyone!
