Can parents/swimmers please check the entry report on the Forthcoming Events page for the CBH Sprint Meet - to be held on Saturday 10th March and the CCASA Intermediate Gala to be held on Saturday 17th & Sunday 18th March,

Fletcher Stevenson recently represented the South West Under 18 water polo side in Blackpool. It was a very successful tournament for the team who won every match over the weekend to become the best regional side in Britain, beating London, North East, North West and Ireland in Division 1. Fletcher played very well throughout and together with his teammates from Devon, Gloucestershire and Dorset proved a formidable side.

Fed up sitting squashed on balcony watching your child swim? Fancy room to move legs and free lunch? We need 10 volunteers to become timekeepers.
Truthfully you can just timekeep (no turns starts etc) at our club champs, for our children in the summer if you wish. But for our club champs to be lisenced we need more parents. This is an ideal way for our younger, new swimmers parent's to give something to the club. Your child will appreciate your involvement in the club and it just makes it better for everyone! If you just fancy trying timekeeping (and if you can use a mobile phone you can press a stopwatch button 😉) please speak to Kara or myself at club
Many thanks

Can parents please be aware that if their child does not attend a gala that they have entered, a fee will be charged by the event organiser, which will be passed on to the parents via the club. To avoid this please ensure that the swimming club is informed of any absences in advance.

Pictured are some of the swimmers from the Penzance Swimming Club, who competed in the 3rd and final round of the Kernow Diddy League held at Carn Brea Leisure Centre. Fantastic swimming from all who competed. Well done everybody!!

Well done to Cornwall 16 & Under boys and 16 & Under girls who recently competed in the inter county water polo tournament at Exeter.

Well done to Cornwall 14 and under water polo side who played excellently in a two pitch tournament at Millfield School in the inter county championships. The counties competing were Cornwall, Devon, Somerset, Dorset, Gloucestershire and Wiltshire. Cornwall beat Somerset 13 - 3, lost to Gloucestershire 13 - 3 and had an exciting game against Dorset ending with Dorset beating Cornwall by 7 goals to 6. Penzance players representing Cornwall were Murray Stevenson, Wesley Eddy,  Levi Barker and Harvey Barker. Thank you to shirt sponsors Armada Engineering, Stevenson Newlyn and Shirley Stevenson.

An eligibility report is produced for each gala and the swimmers name and the events that they have qualified will be listed. If the swimmers name is not on the eligibility report, it means that they have not met the entry standard or that they are too fast for this particular gala. If you feel that the swimmer should have been included please check with our competition secretary.
